The Muckross Traditional Farms are located on the Muckross Estate and offer an authentic outdoor interpretation of rural life in Kerry in the 1930’s and 40’s. Set on a real life farm, the experience invites visitors to discover what life was like in the old-style traditional Irish Cottage each complete with its own Bean An Tí, (woman of the house). Experience first-hand some of life’s daily rituals such as butter and bread-making and witness domestic farming and other craft practices which take place daily during the high season.
